Description
What this is
The full Inside ISI Inspections report, plus a half-day on-site strategy session with José Picardo for your SLT and governance.
A structured intervention with the rigour of consultancy. The corpus tells us what ISI is looking for. The session translates that into a concrete plan for your school.
What’s included
- The full fifty-page report, sent to all session attendees ahead of the day so the conversation starts from a shared base.
- A pre-read brief customised to your school, picking out the patterns in the corpus most likely to apply to your phase, type, and previous inspection history. Sent two weeks before the session.
- A half-day on-site strategy session. Three to four hours with your SLT and governance, run by José. Structured agenda, with space to follow the threads that matter most to your school.
- A working session workbook for each attendee, designed to capture decisions, priorities, and accountabilities in the room.
- A written follow-up brief, delivered within ten working days of the session. Summarises the decisions taken, the priorities agreed, and the next steps with named owners and timelines.
What the session typically covers
- A diagnostic against the corpus. Where is your school most likely to fall short? Where could it be singled out? Where does the procedural infrastructure need attention?
- The four pedagogical patterns translated into a teaching and learning priority list for the year.
- The compliance audit translated into a delegated workplan with owners and review dates.
- The strategic perspective ISI is not yet inspecting but the sector is having: digital strategy, AI, and the articulation of distinctiveness.
- Whatever else your SLT and governance most need to think through together about inspection, evidenced by the findings in the corpus.
Who this is for
Schools and trusts treating their next inspection as a strategic moment. Heads commissioning a structured conversation between SLT and governance. Boards wanting an external view on whether the procedural and strategic infrastructure is fit for purpose.
What you receive
The fifty-page PDF report, distributed to all attendees. A customised pre-read brief. A half-day on-site session with José Picardo. Per-attendee workbooks. A written follow-up brief with decisions and next steps. Standard licence for the school or trust, with multi-site cover available on request. Price is not inclusive of travel expenses, which will be invoiced separately.
How this differs from the briefing tier
The briefing is a one-to-one conversation. The strategy session is a structured intervention with your whole leadership in the room. The briefing suits one or two leaders wanting a tailored read. The strategy session suits a school making decisions collectively, supported by evidence, and recorded in a follow-up brief.
